![]() ![]() The regulator is precise, micrometer style, and this watch runs absolutely excellent. ![]() The serial number dates this watch – 1896, it is a model 3 having 16 jewels and a high-quality nickel movement. The actual case itself may be gold filled as it is not marked to any gold content or number of years too wear. ![]() The inside front and rear and covet dust covers all have fancy patterns. This is truly a watch you have to hold to appreciate! Inside the case it is marked Deuber in an engraved oval on one of the other covers there appears to be a snake on an anchor. The case shows gold applique of Rose, green and yellow gold with intricate Engraving framing both the front and rear covers. The detail is far better than what my camera is picking up. The case is ornate with flowers leaves and a buck or stag jumping over a log. I have not polished this watch, it is exactly as it came from the collector’s collection. ![]() The detail on the case is crisp with no wear showing whatsoever. Possibly none as rare or beautiful as this 16 Jewel 18 size virtually flawless dueber Hampden multi color gold pocket watch. Okay, I’ve got several very rare pocket watches that I have been listing over the last week. ![]()
